BBB (big boy bed) Day 2! Mama reporting!

The good news: D had another awesome night's sleep and stayed in bed until almost EIGHT AM! He woke up happy and ready to play, even got out of the bed and turned the light on first thing. D loves his bed, which presently doubles as Radiator Springs and has been the site of several happy play hours.

The cons: No early change in the number of nighttime wake-ups, and now Mama's commute is longer. Extra sleepy Mama! (Massive understatement in 3. . . 2 . . 1 . . ) D is used to Mama being readily available, so we'll have some transition work to help him feel comfy on his own through the night. There is some indication that he's feeling rejected, but doling out extra hugs and kisses is no hardship for Mama.

All in all it's an encouraging first couple of days!

(Note to self: A completely dark room is veddy veddy nice. New black-out blinds and drapes for the MBR, coming up!)
