Updates! Dorothy is settling in nicely. We're fasting her today in preparation for eating half a pea. She will then have eaten more vegetables this week than I have managed to get into my toddler. Which . . . . . incidentally, they gave me the same advice about fishies and green peas and poops that they gave me about Sweet Baby D and his ouchy tums. Seems like we might have brought home a touch of fin rot, but I'm hoping a couple of teensy water changes will help.

Dada: So D, isn't Dorothy cool?!
D (solemnly): No, Dada. Dorothy is beautiful.

D: Mama, I like that show! Let's sing like that (mmm mmm mmmm). That's a good movie! I want to do that. He's making clouds! Mama, it's rain! Let's watch another one with those characters. And then of course laughs in pure, unadulterated delight at 0:48, 1:12, 1:27, 1:32, 1:42, 1:52, etc.
