A day in the life of a toddler:

* Temper tantrum because "My tinkle went down the drain! Come BAAAAACK!!!"

* Thoughtful observation that the ruckus outside "sounds like a pick-up truck with 'tuff (stuff) in a dumper"

* Concern over whether bad dinosaurs will come to his house and bite him. He remains skeptical when Mama promises this will never, ever happen.

* Sweet, angelic apologies for crying. Assurances that everything is OK, that he doesn't have to apologize for crying, and that we love him no matter what. Then more crying. Lots and lots more crying.
