Awesome weekend! D demanded that we go look at "robots" at Frederik Meijer Gardens. Here's Mama's favorite robot at the park, Tom Otterness' Mad Mom.
Naturally we have a funny picture of D and Mama in front of Mad Mom, but Mama's bingo flappers are hanging out so we'll spare her the indignity and you all the horror of a looksee at that mess. Onward! Next we went through the "kitty door" to say hello to Mr. Mouse.
From there, it was splashy fun in the scale model of the Great Lakes. They are great, aren't they? Sidebar: Mama is still superduper glad to be home where there are two seasons: hot like the surface of the sun with 99.5% humidity and winter. la la la! A jest. But we do truly love it, no lie. D decides he must . . . reach . . . the splashes!!
After getting thoroughly soaked, a little mostly nude lunch with Leonardo's horsey. He is large and anatomically correct, as any snickering and outraged 11 year old visitor can tell you. Or Dada. A lovely day!
